David Johnson - Gopalan Cricket Coach

The Arasikere-born fast bowler David Johnson had the ability to bowl with decent pace as right arm fast spinner. He had his breakthrough seasons when he scored 25 and 30 wickets in 1994-95 and 1995-96, respectively. He made his Test debut against Australia in Delhi in 1996-97. Johnson who bowled fast and played in 2 Tests in 1996 and gained three wickets. He was the fastest bowler of India with maximum speed of more than 150 km/hour. Johnson also was selected for the tour of South Africa in 1996-97. In fact, he took a five-wicket haul in the tour game. In his penultimate First-Class game, Johnson also cracked a century against Goa. Interestingly, those days, he played in the KPL. His major teams have been India, Belagavi Panthers and Karnataka. He is an asset to cricketers and a super coach. Rich experience will make our students a competent cricketer with merit.

K B Pawan - Gopalan Cricket Coach

Mr. K B Pawan, an ace cricketer is an asset to Gopalan Sports. A right-hand top order batsman and wicket keeper, Pawan played the game since 2003 and played for Karnataka, Kerala and other states in Ranji Trophy since 2006 and for Karnataka in all age groups for all most all competitions. As a batsman, scored highest runs in all first-class cricket championships. Pawan will be able to instill spirit and enthusiasm in all our students and will spend considerable time and effort to make it big.
